Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh – Free & Easy

Our tour agent will cordially greet you at the new Techo international airport and convey you to a 4-star hotel located in Phnom Penh city center. After disembarking at the hotel and at your own will, you might choose to release your jet lag or go out for a brief city tour at your own cost using free tips and guideline provided by your tour argent. Afterwards, you may choose to rest in your comfortable hotel room with well-trained hotel employees ready to assist to ensure that you sleep like a baby.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Phnom Ta Mao Zoo – Ta Prohm Temple – National Museum (B/L)

     

After your free breakfast in your hotel, our conductor will drive you to watching wild life at Phnom Ta Mao zoo situated 30 km from Phnom Penh city. We might spend about 3 hours watching the exotic wild life before we leave for a short visit to the ruined Mahayana Buddhist temple named Ta Prohm, located  4 mills from the zoo. The isolated Ta Prohm temple was built by king JayavarmanVII for his educational purposes. Nearby the temple, there are floating restaurant where we will have an authentic meal for lunch prepared by local chefs . After lunch, you will return back to the city where you will spend your afternoon discovering Khmer art and sculpture inside Phnom Penh National museum and also touring around city to see how it developed after its destruction after the war in 1970s. You will finish your second day trip by a brief visit to Lycee Preah Sisowat, the first Cambodian high school build by French colonialist more than century ago and it is the education center of Cambodian elite politician from left and right. At the end of the day, our guide will bring you back to your hotel, but not without providing you with free advice in case you choose to venture out to enjoy the evening city life.

Day 3: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/L)

   

After driver loads your luggage into our company vehicle, you will head toward Siem Reap, the prime destination of world tourist. During but smooth drive, we will stop at a year 1970s fierce battle field named TANG KOK to witness a secluded Hindu temple called Koh Nokor which is surrounded by modern Hinayana Buddhist pagoda. After that brief temple visit, we  will proceed to Kampong Thom city where you would have a lunch and enjoy local dish at your choice. At the midpoint to Siem Reap, our driver would stop for you to examine an extraordinary 12 century bridge which span 285 ft across Kampong Kdei river. You might reach Siem Reap before dark, where luxury hotel employees will warmly welcome you. At the hotel you would like go out looking for a nice restaurant to test a gourmet Khmer cuisine in your diner and afterward enjoy night life at PUP STREET the nightlong party center. Day 4: Angkor National Museum – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Bakheng Hill (B/L)

     

To preface your Angkor touring, our tour guide will start you visit to the National Siem Reap Museum for knowledge on history of various Khmer temples and also Khmer Empire. We proceed our touring to Parama Visnuloka Temple modern name Angkor Wat. At the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, our tour guide will accompany you through every corridor and narrate behind all bass relief carved on every building wall. After a few hours explore the breathtaking temple structure, we return to your hotel for lunch at a restaurant of your choice. In that afternoon day, you will explore astonished Bayon temple previously call JAYAGIRI meaning “ Victory Mountain “. With guidance of our enthusiastic tour agent, you will stroll along every bass relief carved wall depicting the contemporary life of people who build the temple. On your return, you will  stop at the foot hill and walk up the  hill named Bakheng to experience a stunning sun set view of Angkor Wat and West Baray reservoir while you are siting on the terrace of the temple building on the Bakheng hill ‘s top . In the evening ,you might like go out of your hotel in  search a place for your diner at PUB STREET or somewhere else , our guide will give you a free guideline and good advice.

Day 5: Baphon – Royal Palace – Thommanon – Chao Say Tevoda – Takeo (B/L/-)

After your free breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. He will convey you to Brah Bhuvanatylaka or Baphon temple in modern Khmer,  a 11th century state temple of King Udayadityavarman II dedicated to Hindu God Shiva. From the moment you step up to a certain level and stroll along its gallery, your imagination will dream to its pass beauty. 

After descending from the Baphon Pyramid , you will step on a longitudinal 300m terrace, looking out over the Royal square, the foundation for Royal reception and also Royal discourse. Walking along the terrace to north end, you will find a statue of God Avalokitesvara statue sit on top of the chamber which was used by dancers and sportsman for custom change before a performance on the terrace platform. Behind the terrace is the Ancient Royal Palace. Although the Royal Palace structure no longer exist, the two nearby swimming pools prove its existence.

Our tour guide will accompany you to visit two well restored temples placed in front of each other named Thommanon and Chao Say Tevoda. The two temple was built during the reign of King Suryawarman II.

You will terminate your fifth day touring after visiting Takeo temple . The unfinished temple was created by King Jayavarman V and named it “ Hemagiry “. Because the temple construction was not finished, it might relieve your curiosity about the construction management.

We provide you a lunch meal on wheel for this fifth day touring.

Day 6: Kravan temple – Ta Promh – Srass Srang – BanTeay Kdeiy – Prasat Pre Rup (B/L/-)

      

After the driver pick you up from your hotel at a scheduled time, our tour guide will start the small Circuot tour by a short visit to Kravan temple. On the way to visit Ta Promh temple, you will stop to admire a vast Royal swimming pool called Srass Srang what was built by King Jayavarman VII for his harams and entourage alike. Across the street is magnificent grandiose BanTeay Kdeiy temple waiting for you to explore. The visit last until lunch time break where you can have a Khmer Angkorian dish in a restaurant next to the Sras Srang swimming pool. After lunch break, our guide will lead you to discover the astonished Rajavihara or Ta Prohm temple, the ancient Royal Mahayana Buddhist monastery. Our guide will procced to Rajendrabhadresvara, a state temple called Prasat Pre Rup located 2 mills south of Ta Prohm temple. The temple was built in 961 by King Rajendrvarman and it was a State capital. Our driver return you to hotel and you might like to cool yourself down in a swimming pool 

Day 7: Banteay Samré – Ta Som – Neak Pean – Baksei Chamkrong (B/L/-)

After pick you up from hotel, conductor will drive you along road 67 to enter Angkor Park from its north side. You start your visitation at Banteay Samré temple. The temple is still intact likely because it had been built by a best engineer during King Suriyavarman II reign. There are many thing to be admired and wondered in that temple. You will spend about 2 hours there before you proceed to another Rajendrabhadresvara temple what Hinayana followers called Mebon. It been built by King Rajendravarman’s architect name Kavindrarimarhana and was dedicated to God Visnu on Friday January 953 at about 11am (as state in an inscription). After about 2 hours visiting, you might break for lunch and our guide will accompany you to a local street food kiosk near by or you might have a free small meal on wheel. After lunch, your team will head to visit 3 more temples: Ta Som , Neak Pean and Baksei Chamkrong. Ta Som was built in Jayavarman VII reign in style of Bayon temple but no restoration have been undertaken. The Neak Pean temple immerge in the center of a vast water reservoir called Jayatataka Baray. On the way back to hotel, you might drop by Baksei Chamkrong pyramid temple standing at Bakheng foothill. You get back to your hotel at the close of your Grand circuit route

Day 8: King Sihnouk Museum – West Baray – Preah Khan – Angkor Wat (B/L/-)

On this 8th day of your tour, you would pay a visit to King Sihnouk Museum to gain some knowledge on West Baray (also known as West Tadok in ancient time), the next stop of your tour package. The museum is fill with ancient Khmer artifacts left over everywhere in the Siem Reap area: Utensil, pottery, statue and such. After a brief observe on those ancient artifact, our driver will transport you to West Baray. At the astound view of Bary, full of water, you would be boating to visit another Rajendrabhadresvara or West Mebon present in the center of the vast water reservoir. Back at shore, you might like to have lunch a restaurant kiosk at the Baray’s bank the Baray’s bank with a stunning view of the Baray. After lunch, our tour guide convey you back to Angkor park where you would like to explore the magnificent Angkorian university or Preah Khan Temple named by the Hinayana Buddhism followers, the temple had been called” Nagara Jaya Sri” can be translated to English “Holy city of victory “. Our agent will show you the famous professor Indratevy beautiful statue, the elegant 2 levels contemporary library, many bodhisattva Lokesva statues among many other things. On the returning back to hotel, you might like either walking up the Bakheng hill or pay a brief last visit to Angkor wat

Day 9: Bakong – Preah Ko – Lolei – Tonle Sap Lake – Phnom Krom Hill (B/L/-)

After your free breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up and drive eastward along national route 6 toward 3 of  oldest 8Th century temple: Bakong temple , Preah Ko temple, Lolei temple. The 3 temples are state temple built over ancient Capital called Hariharalya. It takes about 4 hours to visit the 3 temples before you will come back to Siem Reap for lunch and proceed to Tonle Sap.

At the mouth of Tonle Sap lake, our 4 wheels drive vehicle will clump up Phnom Krom hill transporting you to visit 2 impressive ruin of temple located at the hilltop. After visit the temple while looking at the horizontal stunning Tonle Sap scenery, you will transport down to a boat port where you will boat through flooded forest to see wondering fishman village.

Our driver will return you back to hotel and our tour agent will give you a good advice to enjoy your last night in wonderful Siem reap City.

Day 10: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh – Departure (B)

Driver and tour agent will come to meet you at the hotel in the early morning and load your luggage for comfortable drive to Phnom Penh. You will tour around Tonle Sap, the Southeast Asia’S largest fresh water lake. Your conductor will carry on his driving westward along national road 6 for about 40 mills and merge into Asian highway leading to Phnom Penh Capital. You will traverse 3 different principal cities, Battambang, Pursat and Kampong Chhnang before closing the Tonle Sap loop at your hotel. You may choose to stop in at each of these cities to explore.

Your 10 days tour will then end with the best memories after your tour agent unloads your luggage and send you off with a ”GOOD BYE AND SEE YOU AGAIN SOON” your touring Tonle Sap loop is close at your hotel and don’t forget to stop at each city for your enthusiastic visit.
